Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Wingmate mobile application and the website at getwingmate.app (together, the "Service"), operated by Wingmate ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Wingmate is a flying companion that offers educational content, anxiety-management tools (such as breathing and grounding exercises), flight-related information, and related features. Wingmate is not a medical device, not psychotherapy, and not a substitute for professional medical or mental-health care.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Some features may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed and managed by those platforms under their terms. Refunds, renewals, and cancellations are handled according to the applicable store policies.

You agree not to:

• Misuse the Service or attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer it
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload or transmit malware or harmful content
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation

Any flight, weather, turbulence, or aircraft information shown in the Service is provided for general informational and comfort purposes only. It may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Always follow airline crew instructions and official aviation sources. Do not rely on Wingmate for operational or safety decisions.

If you are in crisis or think you may hurt yourself, seek emergency help immediately using your local emergency number or a crisis helpline. Wingmate does not provide emergency services.

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, software, and trademarks, is owned by Wingmate or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wingmate and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $50.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
